What: Eureka City Schools’ Learning Continuity Plan

Where: Regular Board Meeting – Virtual Meeting

At its special meeting on September 15, 2020 at 4:30 p.m. the Eureka City Schools Governing Board will hold a public hearing to receive public comment (submitted via email) to seek input and take testimony from the public in regard to Eureka City Schools’ Learning Continuity Plan.

The Learning Continuity and Attendance Plan (Learning Continuity Plan) is a key part of the overall budget package for K-12 that seeks to address funding stability for schools while providing information at the local educational agency (LEA) level for how student learning continuity will be addressed during the COVID-19 crisis in the 2020–21 school year.

Instructions on Public Comments: You can submit public comment for the Public Hearing by emailing Eureka City Schools at Comments must include the agenda item number in the subject line of the email and if you want your entire comment to be read during the meeting, it MUST be under 500 words — which would take about three minutes to read. (If the comment is not under 500 words, it will not be read during the meeting.) Note: Any comments specifically related to agenda items must be received prior to the item being discussed.
