The Eureka High School EAST Class is currently collecting gently used and new shoes for children ages 6-18. EHS sophomore, Meri Farrell, developed the project this spring, that she has titled "Kids, Teens, and In-Betweens", after considering how to help her community in the EAST class (Eureka Academy for Service-Learning with Technology). Meri, along with her team members, sophomore Vivi Castillo and freshmen Tyler Attebury, have already collected over 30 pairs of shoes so far. They will be accepting donations at Eureka High School through June 7. ECS employess and community members can bring any donations to the collection bin in the EHS main office.
