EHS Students Win at County History Day

Thirteen Eureka High students competed on Saturday, Feb. 27, at Humboldt County History Day at HSU, and 3 projects were selected as Champions (in bold)!

  • Vanessa Gonzalez and Rebecca Nguyen (9th) with an Exhibit on Malala
  • Pace Comer (10th) with an Exhibit on the My Lai Massacre
  • Michael Camenzind (10th) with an Exhibit on the attack on Pearl Harbor and the Battle of Stalingrad
  • Alana Busby and Kaylee Murphy (10th) with an Exhibit on the Little Rock 9
  • Seraphina Dollar (10th) with an Exhibit on Miranda v. Arizona
  • Miranda Dennison (10th) with an Exhibit on Jackie Robinson and Branch Rickey
  • Nataleigh Naughton (10th) with a Research Paper on Nelly Bly
  • Nataly Ccachainca-Solano (10th) with a Website on Nelly Bly
  • Myranda Selvage (11th) with Exhibit on the Spinosaurus
  • Katy Shumard and Hailie Smith (11th) with a Documentary Film on the Apollo 11 Lunar Mission
