Eureka City Schools District Board of Trustees is conducting a confidential search for the next district superintendent.
Leadership Associates Executive Search Advisors James Brown and Don Iglesias were selected by the Board to conduct the recruitment and comprehensive search process in the selection of the district’s next leader. They will be in our district on Thursday and Friday, December 15 and 16, 2011, to solicit input that will be used to develop the recruitment criteria. Your input about the desired personal and professional qualities anticipated in the incoming superintendent is valued.
All meetings will be held at the Winship Campus at 2500 Cypress Avenue (left off Walnut).
The date and time scheduled for the consultants to meet with the community is Thursday, December 15 at 5:30 p.m. and Friday, December 16, at 8:45 a.m. in the Winship Multi-Purpose Room
If you are unable to meet personally with our advisors, you may contact them with your response to the following two primary questions:
or by phone at 949-461-9119
What are the desirable qualities, characteristics, background and experiences (professional and personal) for the next superintendent of the Eureka City School District?
What do you see as the strengths of the district and the major challenges facing the district in the years ahead?
The advisors will compile a report of comments and use them to guide the development of the recruitment brochure, the recruitment process, and reference checking. The report will also be shared with the Board and the new superintendent.
Thank you in advance for your participation in this search process, your opinion is important to us.
