Negotiations Update 1-12-18

CSEA and District representatives have met several times since October 2017 to discuss new law AB119, effective July 1, 2017. AB119 requires public employers to provide unions with expanded information on new employees and to periodically provide that information on all employees. It also requires union access to new employees during the onboarding process.

We have been discussing and negotiating the structure, time and manner of CSEA's involvement in the new employee orientation process.

We are meeting again January 24 and will follow with an update.
