Winship Middle School has been selected to receive a $1,200 garden grant from the California Fertilizer Foundation’s (CFF) School Garden Grant Program. Science teachers, Liz Franklin and Hart Ford, applied for the grant earlier this year. They will use the grant to establish six garden beds and equip Winship with tools to maintain the garden for many years to come. Creating a school garden emphasizes a focus on agriculture.
The Eureka City Schools Board of Education will hear a draft Assessment Report and Intervention Proposal prepared by School-wide Positive and Restorative Discipline (SWPRD) regarding School Climate.
