Youth Art Exhibit 2017

For the second year in a row, Eureka High School Visual Art program, in partnership with Redwood Art Association, has produced a county wide, Youth Art Exhibit for high school students. This year our judge Jack Sewell, had a difficult time choosing winners, with over 140 pieces entered from high schools including Eureka, Arcata, Fortuna, Mckinleyville, St. Bernard’s, Zoe Barnum, and South Fork.

Congratulations to all students who had artwork entered in the show. The following ECS students received awards:

  • Michelle Lee - 2nd Place - Sculpture
  • Noah Johnston - 2nd Place - Pottery
  • Anabelle Tsung - 3rd Place - Pottery
  • Bridget Soriano- Honorable Mention - Painting
  • Emily Hines - Honorable Mention - Photography

The show is currently displayed at the RAA gallery, and will be up until May 12th. The gallery is located at 603 F St, across from the Eureka Theater and Paul’s Live from New York Pizza. Please join us during May 6th Arts Alive, awards being handed out around 5:30.
