Our Objectives
Objectives express the personal and learning characteristics we strive to develop in each student.

• Each student will leave our schools with the ability to make responsible life choices.

• We will implement a district-wide facility and grounds improvement plan to support teaching and learning.
• We will build systemic capacity to address the emerging needs of our changing population.
• We will promote and enhance our dynamic educational environment with opportunities that will attract all students who live in our district.
• We will align and articulate curriculum, instruction and assessment.
• We will renew our commitment to respect and support each other through improved communication and collaborative working relationships.
• We will design and implement a comprehensive professional development program for all Eureka City Schools’ employees to actualize our Strategic Plan.

We will not accept or continue programs, courses, or activites without:

• Participation in the development of the program by representative(s) of those affected
• Provision for staff training and support
• Justification through the Strategic Plan
• A defined evaluation process
• A cost-benefit analysis

District planning will be ongoing utilizing the Strategic Planning process.

We will provide appropriate support in assisting personnel to meet performance expectations.
